Pregnancy is older than my marriage!

(Preface: Family and I are Christians)

I got married on May 17th this year and got pregnant on the 27th of May. However, since pregnancy is counted from the first day of your last period (the 13th of May) my pregnancy is dated older than my marriage. My 8 year old neice did the math when we told the family I was pregnant and thought it meant I was pregnant before the wedding until her mom explained it to her. I'm afraid people will get the wrong idea since this dating method isn't well know to the average person. Oh well! 🤷🏻‍♀️😂
