Venting

So my husband and I had our first baby. I’m a new mom so I’m constantly checking on our daughter. My husband hates his job and has been asking me about becoming a stay at home dad for a while. He’s a gamer and nothing wrong with that except when it’s regarding our newborn. My husband likes to give me what he calls “days off”. He will usually clean the kitchen and play video games while our daughter sleeps.

The only problem is he plays with his headset and has no clue of his surroundings. He sleeps her on he stomach. Back is best. She is not in eye sight of him and he can’t here her if she cries. So my days off become more of stressing on if she’s ok. We have had conversations but he just gets defensive and sees nothing wrong. He wants to be a stay at home dad and I don’t think I can trust him to watch her at this age at least.
