Syrup yet?

Has any baby had syrup with pancakes or waffles yet? Or is it not necessary yet for 8-9mo baby?

No. Too much sugar and just unnecessary.

I’ve given my LO a little when she has pancakes or waffles, but she doesn’t have them very often! It’s honestly totally up to you.

I still dont even give syrup to my 2 yr old. Try fruit or ob for a topping if you want but my girl just eats them plain still🤷🏽‍♀️

I haven’t yet, I don’t see a need she’s not complaining yet and doesn’t miss it so I figure we’ll avoid all the extra sugar while we can!

In my opinion it’s a once in whole thing, it’s not like your giving it to them all the day. If baby likes it, let them have a bit! I honestly don’t see any problem with it, mabe if you were giving them syrup everyday then mabe but once in awhile is not a big deal!

i haven’t, too much sugar for my taste this early. and they don’t know the difference. i put yogurt and fruit on top. but it won’t do any harm if you want them to have a little something sweet!
