How long did missed miscarriage take?

So my second miscarriage is happening.. 
went in at what should’ve been 8 weeks and the baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. 
It’s been 5 days since I’ve seen the doctor and if I wear still pregnant I would be 8 weeks 6 days today. So that’s almost 2 weeks. And still no bleeding. 
I’m trying to wait it out naturally. Last time it only took a week from us finding out the baby’s heart stopped beating. So I was wondering how long it took your body to recognize it?

I was 8 weeks when a scan detected the baby had passed away a few days earlier (we’d seen a heart beat of 124 at 6 weeks).  My Dr sent me for a blood test and my levels were 96000.  I waited a week to see what my body would do and levels only dropped to around 77000.  Dr said it’s unlikely I’ll miscarry naturally.  I opted for a D&C.  After the D&C it still took 6 weeks for my levels to get to 0, so I’m glad I didn’t waste time waiting for my body to miscarry.

My first stopped growing between 8-9wks I found out at my 10wk appt. I was prescribed Misoprostol and completely miscarried within 24 hrs of taking it. However, with my second loss the fetus stopped growing between 6-7wks and I found out at my 8wk appt. The Misoprostol did not work on that one and I did not miscarry fully for another 2 weeks.

My body also didn't do anything after 4 weeks of waiting the 1st mmc. I opted for a tablet and it came after the first oral tablet.
The second mmc, I went in for medicine after a week and after a weekend of pessarys and tablets in hospital, I gave in to a d&c.
The third one I waited 2 weeks and then asked for tablets at home and was allowed to birth it my way at last.
Do what you feel you need, but know that waiting a while increases the risk of infection...
Imo d&c's are horrible because I didnt like somewhere doing stuff to my hoohah while I was unconscious :/ but it is quick and relatively painless.

My body didn’t ever get it, I had to have D&C and it still took my body 5+ weeks after that to recognise that I wasn’t pregnant anymore 😔
