Before I even begin, we are already in contact with his pediatrician and going to do a stool sample and talk to a pediatric gastroenterologist, so please do not just tell me to call his pediatrician. I already have. I’m just looking for others who have gone through the same experience and what their outcome was.

My baby spits up a lot since birth. He is 10 weeks old now. Pediatrician says it’s most likely GERD. He also has not been diagnosed with laryngomalcia but pediatrician thinks it is due to stridor and gerd.

The last couple days, he has had a couple very runny poops, one with a couple flecks of blood. Pediatrician said it could be bacterial infection (which is why we’re doing a stool sample) or allergy to my breast milk (I don’t consume any dairy products so it is not cows milk allergy). Then he had a very mucus poop and mucus spit up.

He is a happy baby, only cries when he is hungry, needs to burp, tired, or needs attention.

Any moms out there that can offer any personal experience, advice, or reassurance?
