Hey guys I wanted to share my story

@14 years old I went on depo... and you know the famous question of if you could tell younger you anything what would it be... I would tell myself if any one mentions depo to run as if your life depends on it...

now back to my story

14 years old and I start depo

Now in the 6 years I was on it I have no complaints I loved being on it never had a problem fast forward I’m 16 I meet my now husband (married him in September of 2016 I had just graduated high school 18 years old) I always told myself that I don’t want kids till after I turned 21 so in March of 2019 I took my last depo shot nothing happened I still felt as if I was still on depo in June of 2019 we decided that we would begin ttc and and nothing was happening until may of 2020 when I got my 1st period in 7 years and lord it was pure h*** I bled and bled and bled and it was super heavy I’m talking over night pads during the day bleeding through with in 3 hours and oh yeah this bleeding lasted 35 days YES I HAD MY PERIOD FOR 35 DAYS!

Around day 20 I contacted a gyno to make sure I was not dying and he assured me that I was fine and it was normal when being on depo he put me on medroxprogestrone to stop af and it’s now been 30 days sense my last af (the 35 day one) and I am starting to take the same med again to start af again I am just posting to see if anyone has had any of the same experience
