Pregnancy and cats.

I wanted to know yalls thought on this subject. Ever since I found out I was preggo, I asked my husband to change the cat litter for me & he does. It's safe for me to be around my cat still, right? Also, her little is in our closet, kind of in a crawl space.. breathing it in doesn't cause harm, right? Not saying I'm hovering over it, inhaling it, but I do smell it in my room sometimes. Also, how do you know If you have toxoplasmosis? Thanks for the advice in advanced :)
