For those that have had their babies, how close was your growth scan estimation??

I know the estimations can be off, but how off can they be? When I went in at 32 weeks, they said if I have my baby at 40 weeks, he will be 8.5 pounds. I will be 40 weeks in a few days, and I was just curious about how accurate their estimation is.

My last was actually spot on to the OZ. I had her 2 days after the scan.

I had a growth scan at 36 weeks they said he was 9lb4oz he was born at 39 weeks weighing 7lb13oz... Babies can't lose weight in the womb so from then on I never rely on them :)!

I was told my son would be around 8.5 lbs but he was born 10. 14( was born 6 days past due date)
