**update: was informed that in my situation I will not be able to attend college. So what do I do now?

Right now, I’m a stay at home mom. I applied for college and got accepted, and got financial aid to cover everything.

Unfortunately, some personal things have came up, and I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to attend now. 😞

Would it hurt to still try and go? Should I just drop classes now? Or would I get in trouble since I know there’s a 50/50 chance I will have to drop out with in a week anyway? Would I have to pay back what I spent on books if the worst case scenario happens? Would dropping out cause me not to be able to attend in a few years?

I know they give a card with the financial aid on it, so I didn’t know if I didn’t use it, if it would just get late fees like a debit card or they would just return it.
