I really want to go back to school this fall but my mom won’t let me go. And I’d be fine if there was a logical reason, but she says I can’t go because “social distancing is abusive.” She won’t even let me wear a mask in public.

I haven’t ever been able to see my friends outside of school because it’s “too much of a hassle” for her. So now my social life will be dead, I’m terrible at online classes and non-hands on learning so my grades are definitely going to drop, and I’m being quarantined in my house because being separated from society is somehow better than being six feet apart or wearing a mask. Ugh... I can’t wait for this to be over. I wish I was in control of my own life decisions. 😞
