My husband still hasn’t been given orders but has been told for months now that he will deploy by February, possibly as early as next month. I’m due with our second baby in January and with our first he was able to come home the month he was born and spend a month with us and then return to his duty station to finish his year there.

This one will be a year deployment and I’m heartbroken trying to wrap my head around not having him there for the birth, or the first year of the babies life. On top of that I have to do it alone and I’m a full time student so we don’t really have the money for daycare or a nanny.

Really just searching for some words of encouragement! 💙
