With my first baby my husband didn’t tell me he was deploying until right after I gave birth because he didn’t want to stress me out. He left when baby #1 was almost 3 months old. He missed all the firsts of that baby except seeing baby take first steps and 1st birthday after coming home. I’m due to have baby#2 very soon (within the next month) and he told me today there is a possibility he could be deployed in January again shortly after having a baby. How do I handle having a toddler and a baby without any friends or family nearby all by myself? I’m currently a stay at home mom, but we also talked about me getting a part time remote job at the beginning of next year. Being hormonal I cried and still tear up just thinking about all of this. We own our home off base and I have animals too. So it’s really hard for me to up and leave my house to be with my family back home. Any advice would be grateful!
