I know this is a weird question but I’m curious to see how others view it or what you all think.

So my EX and I tried to get pregnant the entire time we were together for 5 years. It never happened.

We broke up and 4 months later I started dating a new guy (my current boyfriend) he got me pregnant after 2 months of dating. Sadly that pregnancy ended in a loss. We started trying again almost immediately and it took me another 2 years to get pregnant with my daughter who was born in April.

SO.

How many years did I try to get pregnant for? Should I count the 5 years I tried with my ex? The 2 months it took with my bf plus the 2 years after? What would you say?

Just throwing in an edit to say with my ex, he had an infertility issue. We did have his sperm analyzed and he had slow swimmers and not very many of them. I also do have an issue with ovulating. But my daughter was a surprise after I was told I’d have to start Clomid (I never did) and got pregnant on my own finally.
