Would a membrane sweep help or just be another failed attempt?

Hi everyone,

So as of last week’s appt I was only 1cm dilated and 25% effaced. At tomorrow’s appt I plan on asking about a sweep. Baby boy has been low since 34/35 weeks, I had my bloody show almost two weeks ago now, and I’ve been having false labor off and on since week 33. Honestly I’m just exhausted and have constant pain in my hands and wrists from pregnancy induced carpal tunnel (not to mention numbness and tingling). All this to say (thank you for listening to my soap opera) do y’all think a membrane sweep would even be worth it?

Edit to say tomorrow I’ll be 38 and 3.
