sore boobies

hey guys! so m boyfriend and i have sex quite often but we always use condoms. my boobs started hurting like a week ago. i’m supposed to get my period in 8 days so is not because my period is comin. are there any of other reasons why they would be sore other than pregnancy. we’re both 20 and not really ready for a baby but if it happened we would man up and take care of it. I took a test yesterday and it was negative but was it too soon to test? i’m freaking out sos
