Urgent / sperm test uk
I need advice. My husband and me agreed to both see a doctor after trying to conceive for 2 years (on and off tbh). I went straight to my doctor and she sent me for all my tests. It took so much convincing for us to even get to that point. He kept refusing and saying very ignorant statements like “but I’m a man, but how could anything be wrong with me” and pointing out my weight and if I have an off cycle saying “it’s clearly you causing us this problem”.. well you already have an idea of the type of person I’m married to. Then, time had passed and my results came back. I didn’t have infertility but low iron which increased within weeks. One year has passed. I’m still begging him to get his testing done. He had finallt agreed when I stressed it daily after arguments, tantrums, storming off, banging doors etc. The day comes and he said “oh they said everything is fine and they’re going to retest me” and I wondered why? So I said “if everything is fine why do they need to retest?” And he said “just to make sure the numbers match etc” but I haven’t seen retesting done for others when checking blogs and forums etc. There is a week left for his second appointment. I don’t have suspicions but I’m confused.
Any advice? Support? Help? Has anyone else been through this? Did they or their partners also get tested twice in the U.K.?? (NHS)
