Lightning crotch at 18 weeks?

I'm having some shooting pains in my crotch like radiating near my labia not like right near my cervix, if that makes sense?
Is that lightning crotch? Is it too early for that? I thought that was a labor sign? Should I go in?

My lightening crotch started at 18 weeks as well!  Totally normal unfortunately I’m now 39 +5

Lightning crotch isn’t a labor sign, just something that happens usually later in pregnancy. All kinds of aches and pains happen, you’ll have to decide if its severe enough and not stopping then call your doc, if it went away then it could just be something from your hips/pelvis moving like spd.

Lightning crotch is NOT a sign that you’re in labor... lightning crotch is cause by your baby’s position, and the pressure of the baby. It can go on weeks, or even months before you actually go into labor ☺️
