Hormones or...?

Question

So not to sound gross, but does anyone else notice that they smell more since being pregnant? I can shower twice a day and it's like not even an hour after I get out I feel like I smell already? I've been tested and everything is fine, but I don't know if it's the hormones or what but it makes me super self conscious. Anyone else or just me?? :/

I feel like I smell so different now, but I've also noticed that my sense of smell has gotten super sensitive compared to pre-pregnancy, so I think it might just be that I always smelled this way and never knew it.

I don’t know, but if I think about it logically, I would think that’s normal. Why... in the past, I’ve told my doctor concerned several times that I get a strong smell after ovulation for some time then it goes away before AF. I kept thinking I had maybe an infection that’s more noticeable after OV, and he said no. He said that this is normal because of hormone changes. So seeing that some certain hormones which rise after OV and fall before period (or stay elevated and continue rising during pregnancy) can give off a different and strong odor, can be the same result for you.
We may be just more sensitive? 🤷🏻‍♀️ hope you get your answer

maybe try changing your soaps, lotions, deodorant and detergents. I don’t think I smell at all, but I have noticed not liking lotions I previously did, and it may just be how they mix with my natural scent. Also my laundry detergent, I had to change that as otherwise I felt like I smelled - I used to like it but started to hate it and how it smelled on me.
