Hospital photographers still allowed?

Good morning, wondering if anyone knows this: are those newborn hospital photographers still allowed right now at your hospital with Covid? I loved my girls pictures and was hoping to do the same with this baby coming up.

I’m going to say that it is likely a no. Right now hospitals aren’t even allowing visitors and only 1 other person in the delivery room. So unless you can live without your partner or whomever helps you during labor then no I’d say don’t waste you time and money. It sucks right now I totally get it. I really wanted my mom to be with me because my husband kinda sucks at giving emotionally support 😒 but it’s a sacrifice we all don’t have a choice about.

Not at ours. We have a mask policy and my so can not leave our room once there. We have a really nice camera so we will bring that.

I had my baby at the end of June. They were not allowing newborn photography.

It really just depends on your hospital's policy. It's going to be different from place to place.
At my hospital, the only other person allowed in the delivery room (not including the doctors and nurses), is 1 emotional support person.
I too am bummed because I had my SIL take pics of my first and she likely won't be able to for our second (I'm due Nov 6th, so I doubt the hospital policy will change in the fall when cases are likely to increase).

Every hospital has their own polices and it changes daily. I know mine doesn’t even allow visitors right now unless it’s spouse. I’d be shocked if they allowed photographers in.
