I had Covid in July and missed two weeks of work. I applied for unemployment for those two weeks and my application was under review for weeks.

Yesterday they denied me, stating I do not qualify because I was not unemployed. I submitted an appeal.

Has this happened to anyone else? Missing work effected me financially (I do not get vacation time or sick time). Now I’m behind on bills and I regret staying home.

I now understand why some people choose to continue to work even when they know they are Covid positive.
