FTM induction at 37 weeks?

Question

Anyone else induced at 37 weeks with their first? What was it like? How did they do it? How long did it take? I understand everyone is different but I want to hear your personal story

Ask them about using Misoprostol before pitocin. It sets your body up to produce oxitocin (which is what pitocin is a supplement for). Pro is that pitocin causes extra painful contractions where as if misoprostol works, you can avoid the pain increase

I was induced with my first at 37 weeks due to cholestasis. They started with cervidil which gave me really bad period like cramps, then I was sent home to see how my body reacts to it and if I dilate. Next day I went back to the hospital to get another dose of cervidil down there. Then they checked me a couple hours later and lucky I was at a 3cm and could be admitted and get the iv to start labor. Which then took the whole night. Next morning they broke my waters and I went from a 4 to 10cm within 2 hours and man those contractions were painful. I got an epidural and after pushing for an hour my daughter was born. Induction started on a Tuesday and she was born on Thursday.

Same found out this week I go in on Sunday for induction. FTM also we got this positive thoughts.

Induced with my first at 40w. 
Was checked in in the evening. Cervadil inserted (vaginally) overnight. Another medication (oral) in the morning contractions started. My water broke.  Nurses though I peed the bed.. and we’re trying to console me even tho I was like it’s not pee; I can’t control it. It’s my waters. They finally tested the bedsheets and were surprised. Everything went quickly from there and baby was born that night. Overall about 25 hours or so

I was induced. But only because my water broke. I was 1cm dilated and 0% effaced. They started me with cytotek (might be spelt wrong) A oral pill to help soften the cervix and kickstart labor. I took it every two hours, 7 times. My contractions got really bad. But I wasn’t dilating enough. So they started pitocin. From getting checked into the hospital to giving birth it was 32 hours.
