I’m really concerned

My daughter likes to hit herself on one side of her face to play and when she’s frustrated. She also hits me and balls her fists up and grunts like she’s upset. I usually stop her hands and tell her that’s not nice, then direct her hands to do something else. I brought it up to her “pediatrician” who walked around the whole topic and brushed it off. She wasn’t her usual pediatrician who’s much more thorough so I still think there’s more to it. Has any moms experienced anything like this around 9 months? If there’s a problem I want to help my sweet girl as early as I can, but I don’t want to stress if it’s normal baby behavior.
