Skin cancer ?

Does this look like skin cancer.?? Do I need to see a dermatologist.  ? Sorrry for my flaky hair I used an off brand dry shampoo and it didn’t absorb so well ! Lol thanks for any suggestions you may have

My mom has something like that and sometiems it gets hot and gives her a burning sensation! She went to see the dermatologist and have gotten treatment for it. In her case, it was not skin cancer BUT she did need treatment ASAP! When in doubt, ALWAYS go see a specialist !! Especially when about unusual skin spots it

In beauty school we were trained to identify skin cancer using the ABCD guideline-
A-asymmetry 
B-border
C-color 
D-diameter
Since it’s on the top of your head that is exposed to a lot of sun, I would have it checked for peace of mind. 
Do you have alopecia or did you remove hair so you could get a better look at the mole?

It doesn’t to me. My boyfriend has tons of moles on his scalp. Like 5 or 6. He has thick dark hair and you can only see them if you are really digging in there. However, seeing a dermatologist is never a bad idea!

Best question about any spots is to see a dermatologist. Those do not look like anything I've had removed for checking for cancer. Those look more like freckles. Best wishes.

No it looks like a regular old mole but if you're worried then see a doctor
