Anyone ever had a biopsy ?? specifically stomach what were the results

My husband went in for gallbladder surgery and they said they couldn’t do do the surgery cause they found a small spot when they did the endoscopy which gave the doctor “suspicions” I’m 27 weeks pregnant and lost my mind when I found out they are basically looking for cancer. He has thrown up blood a few times lost a little weight and felt pain in his stomach. I’ve read up that cancer in the stomach is often caught in the late stages ...if that’s even what this is we aren’t sure yet. My mom worked as a nurse and said sometimes ulcers can give off the same appearance on an endoscopy and very similar symptoms as well. I’m so scared...anyone go through anything similar with a loved one ... what was the outcome ?
