Expired test is positive but I need to retest

**I am going to retest**

I’m just curious if anyone has used an expired test that came out positive and it was right? I’m at work and can’t leave until lunch or when I get off so I can retest. Until then I’m going back and forth - am I? Am I not pregnant? I have an 11 month old and PCOS but idk I kind feel like I might be but maybe I’m too excited/hopeful.

I want to believe that even if it is expired that there’s a higher chance for a false negative than a false positive. Mind you I have never had a positive test in my life except when we found out about my daughter. So I’m hoping this is true too.

What are your thoughts? Again, I am going to retest but I need to keep my mind busy until I get off work.
