26 weeks!

Only 100 days left, and the reality is starting to set in. The nursery is coming together, and I did my first load of baby clothes in the wash yesterday 🥰 today I’ll put them

In the little baby dresser drawers.

The one thing that’s got me down is the whole shower thing. My aunt offered to host a shower- but then kind of backed off. I haven’t heard anything in weeks. I told her I’d prefer to do something distant yet all inclusive, like a drive by (although the etiquette angel on my shoulder cringes because sometimes a drive by becomes a gift drop).. rather than something exclusive- like a small select group- in a more intimate setting. I want everyone to be able to be a part of it.

I am due in 3 months, so I know there’s time still to have a shower, but I’m also one who needs to be prepared and have everything in place. I don’t want to wait till two weeks before my due date to get a baby carrier- only to find it it’s not compatible with my car or something like that. Im also working FT and third trimester fatigue is coming at me hard by the end of the day- another reason I’d rather have the shower sooner than later. What is anyone else doing for their shower?
