We were giving vitamin d when I was breastfeeding but not now that she is 100% on formula.

You shouldn't unless instructed by their pediatrician

If you take vitamins while breastfeeding it passes on to your baby. I don’t plan to give her any until she weans at 2 or 3. You don’t want too over do it on vitamins there can be too much of a good thing and it can be toxic. 
Also I supplement with 6000 IU of vitamin D a day rather than giving the drops and it passes through my milk. There’s an article on Kellymom if anyone’s interested.

Yes, multivitamin with iron from Amazon. It’s raspberry and grape flavor (she hated the nasty one from cvs). Baby is EBF. She won’t take a bottle and still just plays with food lol

Yes, his pediatrician said to give vitamin D. He’s EBF, so I assume we’ll stop once he’s not nursing anymore.
