Hope your night is going better than mine!

Baby buddy (6.5 weeks) has been pretty irritable today. It’s been not so great naps, lots of tears, he only wants to nurse, but he’s also spitting up a TON. way more than usual. So I don’t want to keep nursing him, but that’s all that calms him down. We have tried everything else.

he typically loves bath time, so we decide to bump up bedtime routine by 45 minutes because he’s clearly tired and we’re just at a loss as to what to do next. He is having a great time in the water. So calm and making eye contact and watching me. It’s wonderful!

Until he spits up and poops at the same time.

So we quickly get him out and cleaned up. He’s SCREECHING at this point. I jump in bed with him to try to soothe him. End up nursing him and he falls asleep. So I pull my boob outta his mouth and he wails. Saddest cry ever. So we nurse again until he falls asleep. Now he’s out cold in the bassinet. Crossing my fingers he stays asleep!
