OPK's reliable?

This is my first cycle using an OPK and I am on day 11 of my cycle.  Since my  cycles for the past 5 months have fluctuated from 23-29 days, I started to test on day 6. I'm now on day 12 and I'm hoping for an LH surge. Should I be concerned? I had EWCM on Tuesday so I was sure that I was ov soon but nothing yet! My dr told me to schedule a visit after 6 months of TTC and this is my 6th month.

I wouldn't rely to much on OPKs they could be wronge or even not detect the LH in your body in time! I read many reviews of women using them with no positive sign and still ovulated.. Listen to your body, some women get sore boobs or even some sharp small pains in there overies( the one there ovulating from).. Tey taking you BBTs and checking your CM everyday. Get used to your body and how it changes every cycle.. It will come. A women's body tells so much with out any of these devices if we just listen to it.. God Bless and prey you get your BFP!!

Keep testing. You may just be ovulating late. Also keep an eye out for that EWCM!! Good luck.

This could be a later period for you. Keep testing twice a day and see. I usually get my +opk by CD 11/12 and on January I didn't until CD 16. It was awful waiting for it! And my period was the latest it's been in months because of that. Keep testing! :) fx for you. Ewcm should mean it's coming soon.

And I'd keep trying to BD every other day or everyday if you can.
