Hey ladies! Not sure if this is allowed.

I’m kind of a nervous wreck right now and need some info. I did the Panara (not sure if that’s how it’s spelled) and horizon blood test last week. The first half of the results were great and they even told me the gender of the baby. But i just got the rest of the tests and was notified that the baby was positive for either having or carrying the SMA syndrome (spinal muscular atrophy). I’ve never heard of it before but i googled it (which i never should’ve had !) and it terrifies me. Does this mean my baby has it or not? They are wanting my husband to get blood tested too. But i won’t have an appointment till Thursday so they can explain what it is. But I’m an impatient person. Has anyone gone through this? If she does indeed have it, what should i expect? TIA
