I’m 25 at the moment and just desperately looking for a new job. Doesn’t help that it’s a pandemic.

I’m just beyond the point of frustration. I have a bachelors in psychology and a Masters Degree in Organizational Development which is basically pointless honestly.

I work with individuals who have disabilities at the moment and it just doesn’t pay very well. I would love to move out of my house (still live with parents) with my boyfriend who is buying a house soon but I won’t be able to afford it.

My dad always makes remarks to me saying things like “well you only make 10 dollars a week so what to you know?” (Obviously I make more than that) but his comments are always hurtful. He says a lot more worse things to me and my mom as well.

I would love to work in higher ed but everyone is on a hiring freeze due to Covid. I don’t know where to turn and apply everyday to jobs. Constantly looking on indeed. At least I have one I guess honestly.

I have a passion for painting and watercolors and have a small little art Instagram that I plan to sell prints and what not when the time comes. Itsa dream of mine to do this full time and I think I can but it will take time. I paint every single day and I love it! I just want to make it into a career.

Any one have any advice for jobs and what not?
