Gift for 1st born?

I have a 4 year old daughter, and I thought it would be nice to give her something when this LO is born. Does anyone have any ideas?

My daughter is also 4 and she loves to take pictures so we are getting her a kids camera from her little brother because she always asks us to take pictures or for our phones so she can take pictures so I thought it would be cool so she could have her own camera and also she can take a picture of her brother when they meet and I can have and cherish that picture forever from her perspective.

I was thinking the same thing. My daughter seems to be so emotional and clingy all the sudden, like she knows something is about to change. Trying to think of something to make her feel super special.

We are making my daughter a big sister bag. It has a baby doll, doll diaper bag (has bottles, diapers, wipes, brush, toy, etc. for her doll), coloring books, a big sister book, big sister shirt, and a big sister bracelet.

I’ve heard of giving them a realistic baby doll of the same gender as the new baby. My firstborn just turned 2 and does love her one baby doll she has, but we are team green, so not sure what gender this baby is. I’ve also thought of making a bag of just general items she likes, but as she just had her birthday she’s already inundated with new toys!

We did a big sister shirt and matching necklaces for me, her, and baby sister.  I also took her to the store and let her pick a toy for herself and one for baby.  She is 3 1/2 and loved it.  Also doing a spa day with her right before baby comes.  Get her hair cut, nails done, and go to lunch wherever she wants.

We got our 2 1/2 year old a big sister shirt, big sister book, some flash cards (she loves flash cards), a puzzle, some Kinect sand, and I tossed in a few candies and juice boxes. When she meets baby for the first time we’re going to try to make a big deal about how he got her a present for being such a good big sister etc. mainly was trying to find some things to keep her busy/entertained and let her know how important she STILL is. ❤️

I’ve got a doll for my 3 year old that drinks and wees with some accessories to go with it so she can join in with her own baby.  I dont know if it will help her at all but not sure what else to do.  I also got her to choose a gift for her new sister (just a teddy from bear workshop) and her new baby sister will have a gift for her too.
