Anyone else have a 1 hour napper?

How long does your baby usually nap? Every once in a while it will be longer but it seems like he just doesn’t need much sleep anymore 🤷🏼‍♀️
I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant and having a hard time keeping up with him for such a long day.  I’m really enjoying the time while it’s just the two of us though, but I needed to vent.  Can anyone else relate??

Only passing along info I have heard from other moms, take anything useful. My one friend said babies and young toddlers have this like hour set of how much sleep they need or prefer. She got this info from a sleep coach and it was a game changer. So her toddler needs 13 hours and I found mine likes 14. So whatever they don’t get at night, they make up for with naps. If they sleep too much at night, less nap time. I was having an early waking problem and found it was because mine napped too long during the day (3 hours) and since I got him down to 2-2.5, he sleeps his 12 at night. Also, young toddlers and babies rely on circadian rhythm as well so if wake time and bed time aren’t working, they say try to go earlier for bed time and make sure the nap is 4-5 hour after morning wake. But sometimes babies are just sleepers and some are not, so this advice is really subjective. Slee associations like sound machine, routine, curtains, etc can help with longer sleep as well. Another friend didn’t have a sound machine and once she did, her 45 min sleeper moved to an hour and a half.

Ya it’s the age. They usually will start sleeping longer for naps as they get a little older. My 2.5 year old naps for like 2 hours or more sometimes. My 1 year old naps for and hour tops. Things seem to get easier after 18 months

Same here.  She doesn't seem to need more than that.  I wish for even 30 more minutes sometimes 🥰

Currently 30 weeks pregnant, but my 16 month old still takes his one 3 hour nap everyday at noon. I need those three hours so bad, I can’t imagine what’s it’s going to be like with two under two 🙃
