Is it normal to have cramps but a late period?

It's happened to me before. My period was two weeks late but I was cramping like hell and once my period started the cramps were worse.

It's possible but my first sign of my pregnancy was cramping that started 3 days before my period was expected. They came and went off and on for a few weeks. Take a test of your period is late. If you are already past your expected period date then the results should be accurate. Good luck
