What age will you have your baby sleep with a pillow and duvet?

I'm thinking at least 18 months, and after that just when she asks. 🤷‍♀️ I heard it's actually better for alignment to sleep with no pillow!

The information I’ve found online says it’s best to wait until 18 months, I will probably follow that recommendation.

With my eldest I did a small pillow a little before 18 mos. she had started using stuffed toys as pillows while she laid on the ground while playing so figured she kind of had the idea down. She wasn’t interested in blankets until closer to 3 but we live in pretty warm climate. I will probably watch for same cues with December baby, when he can model using a pillow for play or waking rest he can have one for sleep.

We have our daughter a small blanket around 18 months. But it wasn’t until she moved to her floor mattress at age 2 that we gave her a pillow and full sized blanket.

Not until 18 months at least. She sleeps fine without anything in her sleep space so I’ll keep it that way for while!

No pillow until she’s in a regular bed and honestly I probably won’t do a blanket either until then (if I do it definitely won’t be until at least 18 month but again more than likely later). My son is 3 and he didn’t have a pillow until he went into his bed at (just over) 2 years old. At that point we allowed him to use his comforter and everything but he didn’t have interest so we gave him a baby blanket to put over him. He just started using his comforter a few months ago. They are so used to sleeping with no blanket and no pillow. They don’t know any different until you introduce it to them.
