Hi everyone! Anyone else have 19 month olds that aren’t speaking much yet? Our little one says words occasionally. I’ve heard her say over 25 individual words, but she just doesn’t use her words regularly yet. What she has said has been correct and in context. She has some words she uses regularly, but seems more content just getting things herself.

She was 36” tall at her 18 month appointment and was walking by 10 months, so she’s been able to reach or get up and get what she wants for a while now.

Her pediatrician was not worried about her expressive language because she doesn’t have any other delays and shows strong receptive language skills.

It’s just hard not to worry!
