Daycare 🙈❤

So my little dude started daycare last Monday, he'a a year and two weeks old now, and he's been doing sooo well. The daycare we chose has this acommodation program where parents get to go in the first few days and help the toddlers adapt better and feel a sense of security in their first few days in daycare, today was the first day i left him there only with his misses till noon, he was so good, and when i went to get him they told me that since he was the youngest in his group they were expecting him to be more clingy and upset during his first days there but they said he has been adapting amazingly well, loves his toys and activities there, eats like a champ and basically he's the easiest going out of the whole group (there are only two other kids so far, one is a boy of a year and a half who cries all day long poor baby, and the other is a girl, year and 7 months old, who has also been doing very well).

What have your experiences been like with daycare? Do any of you mamas have your toddlers in daycare until later in the afternoon? Next week we "graduate" to sleeping there as well, so I will be picking him up around 4pm, i'm so nervous about this, he's never been more than a few feet away from me since he was born. I've been back to work since May but i've been working from home so we've never been apart, not really. I've enrolled him into the "long" program, till 6pm, because sometimes i have to work till then, but most days i plan to get him out at 4pm, and finish up whatever work i have left when we get back home. How have your babies been handling daycare, and especially sleeping there?
