Any other mommas?

Any other mommas significant other taking it hard that they can’t attend appointments. My husband today was so irritated because he couldn’t come today. (With our daughter he went to every single one) I told him I would see if he could go to my 36 week appointment 🥺💖 (I’m 34+5)

It’s very hard my kids dad was at every appointment for my son and this is his first girl out of 4 other kids and he can’t be there it crushes him , my Obgyn has thankfully let him attend all but one ultrasound and the one he couldn’t attend was due to complications so it was a coke in and check it out he was working other then that he has been allowed to be on facetime and we have been able to record every heartbeat and appointment for his sake and I will be putting it all into a little movie to give to him once she is here!

My husband is really sad about it. I feel so bad because I know he feels so left out and this is our first child, so it’s been hard not getting to experience everything together. He was only allowed to the first one and after that they stopped allowing him back. He still drives me there, waits anxiously outside, and reads my after care summary sheet. Once I recorded it for him to listen to and another time the doctor let me FaceTime him during the appointment. We are trying to make the best of it.

Yes definitely!! This is our first baby and he hasn’t been able to go in with us and he always get so irritated when he has to take me to my appointments but luckily we were able to find a private place to go get ultrasound where he is allowed in. Even though it isn’t the same as seeing an OB/MW he’s still seems to get somewhat happy he got to see her 2 already. Only 3 more appointments until she’s here 😩🤯
