Thick milky discharge is the result of the rise in progesterone, which happens during the TWW because progesterone supports the lining in your uterus and it rises during pregnancy as well. 
If progesterone stays elevated and continues to rise, you’re pregnant.
If progesterone declines, it triggers your period to come
Either way, CM can not truly determine if you’re pregnant or not given you’re in your TWW
