Has anyone every thought of becoming a surrogate? Or was one?

I’m considering it for my sister. She has fibroids growing in her womb she’s due to have them removed by her 5th operation and if it doesn’t work this time she may have to have a hysterectomy. She bleeds heavily constantly from them and is anaemic because of it she’s also bloated and looks pregnant and it’s really just ruining her life! She got married last year and they want a baby but may not happen. She’s going to try after her op and see what happens. But if not I would do it for her. I would only do it for her though. 
I have easy pregnancies and labours so I don’t see it being a problem even though I’m in my late 30’s now! 😬 my husband isn’t thrilled about it though he thinks it’s a lot for our family and kids to deal with and I agree but it’s my sister!

I don't think I could unless it was for a family member BUT I have thought about donating my eggs!

I think people who do that are amazing! I feel like I would get to attached during the pregnancy so I don't think I could ever do it personally

I think it’s amazing that women do this for others, but personally I think I could only do it for a family member!

I would LOVE to. But considering I had ICP both pregnancies and severe preeclampsia with my daughter, not sure I would be able to and I don’t even really want to anymore at this point. But I definitely would love to donate some eggs if I can’t carry for someone else, if I’m able to!

I totally would! I love being pregnant and would love to be able to help someone have a child. My husband isn’t too keen on the idea though, which is understandable.
