How early is it okay to take a bottle from baby? 
How late is too late?

I know someone who let her kid drink from a bottle till he was 3. His baby teeth are now rotten and decayed. I’d say that’s too late.

Its too early if your baby won't drink from a sippy cup or drink as much milk/formula they need from a soppy cup. We stopped ours the day she turned 10 months. Our pediatrician wants babies off bottles by 14 months.

At 12 months when we switched to whole milk we replaced the bottles with sippy cups. And they are only given during meals and once before bed (and before teeth washing), so baby can’t just chill with it for an extended period of time

I won’t allow bottles past 15 months. And even that’s pushing it for me.  There’s just no need for it. Our oldest was off bottles between 9 and 10 months and drinking her formula from normal sippy cups. We’ll be doing the same with our youngest when the time comes.

My first was the only one of mine to have a bottle but I took it away at the recommended 12 months.  I wouldn’t have before that as they suck for comfort so I let her get that last bit of joy out of it lol

My first drank out of a bottle until 11 months. In the uk its recommended bottles should be gone by 12 months old.
