Egg allergy?

Question

My son has always hated eggs and had only had a few bites up until this morning when he had a whole scrambled egg mixed with a tiny bit of ketchup.
Well.
He threw up EVERYWHERE after his nap and then two other times after that.
Is this common with food allergies? I’m thinking it was the egg since it’s the only different thing he ate today.
Any other mammas have similar experiences?
Also - how do you get vomit smell out of carpet 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴

My son is allergic to eggs. He’s 6 now, but as a baby he would primarily react with hives. He recently ate bread with eggs in it by mistake and vomited everywhere. It could totally be an allergic reaction. I’d recommend allergy testing to be certain. 
My June daughter is also allergic to eggs we found out through allergy testing. She got hives initially, but on 2nd exposure she projectile vomited (and only on exposure to baked egg).

My son is allergic to eggs.  His face turns red when he eats them.  He did not throw up like yours did.  I would call the pediatrician.

Oh no. They first time we did eggs we had hives and throwing up within mins of eating them. She’s out grown it and of fine now. I wonder if it was an allergic reaction or just upset tummy?

Oh no! Maybe they just didn’t sit well with him? I’d just keep an eye on it if he didn’t have any other symptoms along with the vomiting. We use Folex carpet cleaner and it gets rid of stains and smells really well along with being non-toxic!
