And should I still be "leaking"?

I know I'm not supposed to.. But my midwife, who checks up on me almost weekly, doesn't seem to be very worried..

Though she said I'm allowed to leave the bandage off my cut now.. I'm scared to leave it open until my wound stops leaking...

It may be irrational but I'm very scared I'll make a wrong move and it'll tear open, after all the leakage means it's not entirely closed yet? (the band probably gives me a false sense of security 😅)

Anyways I was sewn closed on the inside and stapeled on the outside, the staples have been out for 2 weeks now. Aparantly the stapling hadn't been done very "pretty" on the side that keeps leaking

Ps: not all leakage is visibe in this photo.. There's a big splash on the left and a little speck on the right.. But on the left to the middle it has leaked an almost clear yellowish substance, it was all crusted like a bloodcrust.
