DV Survivor Anniversary

It’s nothing as exciting as a baby or a wedding but almost a year ago I left the man that used to abuse me and my daughter and I just want to tell other women who are in unsafe or scary marriages and relationships what my mom told me: leave. If you have a child(ren) this is the live they will learn and they will never recover is that what you want? You think you’re hiding it from them but they see it, they hear the crying they see the fear they know what’s going on. I left with a very young baby and I just want you all to know it’s possible too. Reaching out is the hardest part, this I know, but after that nothing but support will follow when you find it. No person worth loving will hurt you.
