We started casually potty training before my daughter turned 2 and she did really really well, but we didn’t get to the point of getting it down outside of the house and then the holidays were soo busy that we let it fall backwards and then every time we went to potty train again life would throw something at us that would push it back. She will be 3 in two months and even though life is still a little crazy we were like we HAVE to get this done! So we started Saturday and the first few days were all over the place. She was having progress but up and down then Tuesday had nothing but accidents alllll day until like 6 pm. I had a chat with her telling her how I know it’s a big change and I know it’s hard but is doing well and she CAN do it and we’re all done with pull-ups! She has not had an accident since then!!! She’s doing it all on the toilet, and mostly telling us on her own when she needs to go. I am feeling so relieved with this progress so I just wanted to encourage other mamas that are starting to potty train, I know it can feel daunting especially if the first few days are hard but you can do it!
