Have you told your job you are expecting?

My boss is not a warm/caring person. She is very abrasive. I am truly not looking forward to sharing the news. 😅 I feel like she is going to say something to offend me or something really rude. Pray for me, I am telling her on Monday 🙏🏻

I told mine solely because I work at a school, and I’m really worried about COVID. If it weren’t for that, I would have waited much longer to tell anyone at work!

I told my boss before going back to work since COVID and thenn a few days ago he asked when I was going to start telling people because I was showing more than usual. 😳 I’m 10 weeks 6 days and I have my next appt Tuesday which will be our second ultrasound. It is our first so I’ve kinda kept quiet except family and close friends but really I was stunned when he ask me that!

I am still on maternity leave from my last birth. I had to tell them really early with that pregnancy like 7 weeks because I felt so horrible. I won't be going back to work in December after this mat leave is done but I haven't told them that yet.

I told mine because I’m in a corporate events band and our costumes hide very little in terms of weight gain. Because of Covid we’re not doing as many shows so he felt like my timing was great and wasn’t concerned at all with me showing or missing shows later in my pregnancy as when baby comes. My fiancé and I are both in the band so we’re like family to him- he was super happy for us and is very protective of me now when we travel. I was very nervous telling him, though!!

I just told my boss at 12 weeks since I felt when I told later last time that we didn’t have enough time to plan for my time off. I also have to train someone from ground 0... it’s going to be a lot of work!
