How common is another miscarriage?

I have a few days before I’m supposed to start but I’m starting to see more prominence in my veins. The miscarriage is recent and it was my first. My anxiety is through the roof when I think of getting/being pregnant again. Ladies I wanna hear your stories and maybe ways you cope with the what ifs. TIA

That depends on all kinds of things.
For instance, miscarriages are due to the shape of my uterus - so anytime I’m pregnant it’s 50/50 because my uterus isn’t about to change shape. I think for a normal woman it’s something like 12% but don’t quote me on that. 
Wait until you’re ready to try again. And take it day by day, like the other poster said. When I’m pregnant now my husband and I go by milestones to help cope if it goes badly.

We had a MC in January- 10w6d. We are currently TTC (and have been x several months). I have this ache I want to be pregnant so badly then the fear of I will lose another baby. It’s a vicious cycle. However- what I’ve decided this next time around 🤞🏻 is that we will tell people from the get go, celebrate our first US, seeing the baby, seeing the heart flicker, hearing the heart beat, making it out of first trimester etc all of the things we didn’t really get the opportunity to do the first time around. Take it day by day. Hang in there.

I had 3 after my son and then had my daughter. I don’t stress about what ifs though. I just take stuff day by day. We gave my body time to really heal and got pregnant with her a year after the 3rd
