Would you go to a private US place?

My doctors office won’t let me make an appointment to be seen until I’m 10 weeks or further along 😤 but I’ve had multiple miscarriages and can’t wait to see or hear the little heart beat!  I’m also afraid if I go to one of those baby bump places I could find out I had a missed miscarriage (I’ve had one before). Ah help, I’m also 6 weeks and 3 days.

With a history of miscarriages they should be doing more. I started getting blood tests and ultrasounds at 4 weeks bc I’ve had two miscarriages and even though you don’t see much, the doctor wanted a progress timeline to track. Maybe think of switching practices?

I would push for it. Mine did an US at 6 weeks because of my history of miscarriage

Well most private please don’t do the transvaginal scans which during early pregnancy are required in order to get a good picture of baby. Can you call your doctor and request to be seen closer to 7 weeks due to your history? Or schedule bloodwork to confirm your HCG is climbing?
