Has anyone ever tried it??

I suffer with anxiety and wanted to know if anyone has ever tried hydroxyzine for it? im tapering off of .5mg of ativan but the WD symptoms are kicking my tail. I was prescribed 20mg of hydroxyzine to help me relax but i dont want to be heavily sedated..i have to get out today but scared that i will be too tired and i really need one right now.

It may make you a little sleepy but its not going to knock you out like xanex or valium probably would. Its probably the mildest anti-anxiety med you can get. If you notice its also used as an antihistamine and to treat allergic reactions, its basically a prescription benadryl.
