Am I pregnant??

I got my IUD removed August 13th, that morning I had sex with no protection because I still had the IUD, later that day I had my appointment to get my IUD removed & it went well, the Gyno warmed me that I could possibly get pregnant because I had sex that same morning and because sperm can last up to 5 days in the vagina. I haven’t gotten my period this month & im trying not to consider pregnancy as the reason, I’m thinking it’s because I had my IUD removed & my body has to get used to the changes. I’m not sure if I should take a pregnancy test or just wait it out, help?
